I’ve apparently fallen down the Financial Management rabbit hole and am wondering if the professor was trippin’ when he created the homework or was this just his way of terrorizing his non-finance major students… seriously, WTF?!
I’m in ratio overload: Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Cash Ratio, Total Debt Ratio, Debt-Equity Ratio, Equity Multiplier, Times Interest Earned Ratio, Cash Coverage Ratio, Inventory Turnover, Days Sales in Inventory, Receivables Turnover, Days Sales in Receivables, Capital Intensity, Profit Margin, Return on Assets, Return on Equity, Price-Earnings Ratio, Market-to-Book Ratio, Internal Growth Rate,Sustainable Growth Rate… OH MY!
On Friday night, Hubby and I went on a dinner/dance cruise of NYC (sponsored by my university program). Below are photos from the good times had by all. The guy in the blue shirt is a professor from one of my previous classes. He was a riot! Even got out and danced with everyone.
Tonight I presented before the class (like I do on every Tuesday night – since I’m in Group A). The three minute presentation covered the topic of Behavioral Interviewing, and guess what???
I didn’t suck!
Yes, there’s still plenty of room for improvement, but I did so much better than last week. YAY!
… when I start my first masters program class. It’s called Communication Skills for HR Professionals and will focus mostly on public speaking/presentations.
