Today’s Snow Storm
The snow is steady with winds from 20-40 mph. We’ve had at least 6 inches so far (as of 3:00 PM) but likely more like 8 inches. We’re predicted to get 12-15″.

Between tonight and tomorrow night NYC forecasted to get about a foot of snow. Of course the news hyping it up like crazy. Stores are crowded with people stocking up. Businesses and school districts are already announcing closings (with not even a flake of snow coming down yet).
Well I guess when “snowmageddon” comes, Hubby and I will be the only ones unprepared. If we lose power, we have extra blankets and we have Yankee candles. We have enough food for 2 days. It’s not like it’s a multi-day event. C’mon people! Stop being media-led sheep and think for yourselves.

Wintery weather…
After 2-3 inches of snow last night, the precipitation has now converted to sleet and then to rain.
…good times….
I’m so ready for some warmer weather. Punxsutawney Phil better hope it’s cloudy on February 2nd… OR ELSE!
