Dinner/Dance Cruise

On Friday night, Hubby and I went on a dinner/dance cruise of NYC (sponsored by my university program).  Below are photos from the good times had by all.  The guy in the blue shirt is a professor from one of my previous classes.  He was a riot!  Even got out and danced with everyone.

Dog’s Going Senile

Posted by: Weesa  :  Category: Animals, Friends & Family, My Thoughts Exactly

My dog, 13-yrs old, who spends most of her days & nights sleeping, has taken to a new activity.  She’ll get up and walk out to the hallway or into one of the rooms and just stand there staring blankly inot space.  As if she’s not sure why she walked over there.

The vet says she’s very healthy for a dog her age.  I just don’t know.

Labor Day Weekend

Backtracking to Labor Day weekend….
We took a quick trip to Dallas and had a great time visiting friends & family.

Sofia and I got to play hide & chase with Dave.

And here she is playing coy on Daddy’s lap…

Poor Doggie

4:30 PM UPDATE:  She had one molar extracted and is now doing well at home. YAY! :-D

My doggie is going into the vet today to get her teeth cleaned for the first time.  This is done under general anesthetic which means I couldn’t give her water or food this morning.  She just stands there and looks at me with sad eyes as if to say, “Mommy, did you forget about me?”  I feel so bad for her :-(

Congrats to The Spare
