Yesterday in NYC was clear & sunny with a high of 64F (a rare treat). After trying a new place for brunch, Hubby and I took a ride up to Columbia University to walk the grounds. After that we visited the nearby tomb of Ulysses S. Grant. On our way home, we stopped by a street fare filled with food/arts/crafts vendors. There we purchased 2 orchid plants and a sago palm (all for less than what we’d pay for 1 orchid plant at a plant shop).
Mom is visiting this week and we took an afternoon/evening to hit Rockefeller Center (including the GE Building which houses most of NBC Studios, and “Top of the Rock” on the 70th floor), Times Square, and the outside of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Below are some of the photos I shot. On some it’s the same photo in its original version, auto-adjusted version, black & white, and sepia tones. (All originally taken in color.)
